Today, KV Paradip Port successfully organized the Pustakopahar Programme, during which a significant number of books were generously gifted by the students. We are proud of our students for their thoughtful initiative in gifting their old textbooks to their juniors. This noble act greatly contributes to fostering a spirit of humanity and compassion among the students.

The Honorable Assistant Commissioner Sir appreciated the students’ efforts and encouraged them to continue their creative pursuits. The school takes pride in this achievement and congratulates the students for their outstanding literary accomplishment.
Inspiring Young Minds: National Youth Day Marked with Enthusiasm
National Youth Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and spirit. The occasion was organized to encourage young minds and to spread the values and teachings of Swami Vivekananda. Students participated actively and showcased their talents with energy and confidence.
As part of the celebration, various competitions were conducted, including an essay writing competition held in the library. The competition provided students with an opportunity to express their thoughts and ideas on topics related to youth empowerment, leadership, and nation-building. Participants demonstrated creativity, awareness, and strong writing skills.
The event concluded with appreciation for all participants and encouragement to continue striving for excellence. The celebration of National Youth Day proved to be inspiring and meaningful, fostering a sense of responsibility and motivation among the youth.
Discover and Write: Exploring the Tell me Why Magazine
The “Discover and Write” activity was conducted as an engaging fact-finding programme to encourage students to explore magazines and develop curiosity-based learning.
After identifying suitable facts, students neatly wrote them in their library copies and illustrated one selected fact with colourful drawings. This creative integration of reading and art made the activity lively and enjoyable. Later, students confidently presented their chosen facts before their peers, which helped in improving their communication and presentation skills.
The activity successfully enhanced students’ awareness of important facts related to the world around them and promoted reading habits, creativity, and self-expression.
Showcasing StoryJumper: An Engaging Story-Creation Platform by Bhaktisree Mohanty
Bhaktisree Mohanty of class VIII A presented an insightful demonstration of StoryJumper, an interactive online platform designed for creating imaginative storybooks. The session highlighted how learners can craft their own digital stories using the tool’s easy-to-navigate features, vibrant illustrations, and customizable templates. Through this demonstration, participants gained a clear understanding of how StoryJumper can inspire creativity, enhance writing skills, and make storytelling a fun, hands-on experience for students of all ages.
D.E.A.R. Programme Engages Students in Joyful Reading at KV Paradip Port
Today, KV Paradip Port successfully organised the Drop Everything and Read (D.E.A.R.) programme immediately after the morning assembly. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various classes, creating a vibrant reading atmosphere within the school premises.
The primary objective of the D.E.A.R. initiative is to cultivate a genuine love for reading among students. Through this marathon reading session, the school aims to instil the habit of daily reading for at least 20–30 minutes, thereby enhancing their vocabulary, imagination, and overall academic development.
National Constitution Day Celebrated with Pride at KVPP Library
National Constitution Day was observed with utmost enthusiasm and sincerity at the KVPP Library. Students actively participated in a Constitution-themed quiz competition, showcasing their knowledge and interest. To further enhance their understanding, a short film on the Indian Constitution was screened, helping them gain deeper awareness about its significance. The event served as a reminder of our collective duty to honour, respect, and follow the Constitution in our daily lives.
