According to the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan's directive, the PUSTAKOPAHAR program is conducted in all Kendriya Vidyalayas nationwide at the beginning of each academic session. This initiative aims primarily to promote environmental conservation, emphasizing actions such as paper savings, tree preservation, and fostering a cleaner, greener India. Kendriya Vidyalayas actively engage students in these efforts, facilitating the exchange of pre-class books among students in need.
