National Space Day 2024-"Touching Lives while Touching the Moon: India's Space Saga."

On 23rd August 2023, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) marked a historic achievement by successfully landing the Chandrayaan-3 lander and rover on the Moon. This accomplishment made India the fourth nation to achieve a lunar landing and the first to land near the Moon's southern polar region. Following the successful soft landing, the Pragyan Rover was deployed without a hitch. In honor of this remarkable feat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared August 23rd as “National Space Day” in India.
