The “Discover and Write” activity was conducted as an engaging fact-finding programme to encourage students to explore magazines and develop curiosity-based learning.
After identifying suitable facts, students neatly wrote them in their library copies and illustrated one selected fact with colourful drawings. This creative integration of reading and art made the activity lively and enjoyable. Later, students confidently presented their chosen facts before their peers, which helped in improving their communication and presentation skills.
The activity successfully enhanced students’ awareness of important facts related to the world around them and promoted reading habits, creativity, and self-expression.
